Going into this Joshua Tree shoot, I was honestly exhausted. I had just photographed a wedding the day before, and I could still feel it physically and mentally. I wasn't even sure if I had the energy or creativity to pull off what I had envisioned. I remember doubting myself and wondering if I could bring the same energy I normally do to a shoot. But once we started, something just clicked. The first couple of poses felt a little slow, but after that, everything started falling into place. One idea led to another, the creativity started flowing, and before I knew it, I was trying poses I'd never even done before. It's funny how sometimes all it takes is getting behind the camera to remind yourself why you love doing this in the first place.
Athena and Moises we’re super fun, energetic and outgoing. There's something about shooting a ridiculously good-looking couple against a rough and rugged, wide open environment like Joshua Tree. It just gets your creativity going.
